Ankara, January 16, 2025. At the invitation of President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is paying a State Visit to the Republic of Türkiye on January 15-19, 2025.

During the State Visit, the two sides signed 11 cooperation documents, aiming at expanding and developing relations and cooperation between the two countries. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a Joint Declaration on Establishing a Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and the Republic of Türkiye.

Mongolia and the Republic of Türkiye have maintained a Comprehensive Partnership since 2004. During the State Visit of the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the Republic of Türkiye, the two countries elevated relations to a Strategic Partnership. As a result, Mongolia has now established a Strategic Partnership with nine countries.
